Built For Your Squarespace Websites
Terms and Conditions/Policies
Purchasing Process:
The estimated timeline for receiving access to your completed website is 7 days after contract agreement or completion of Jotform, whichever comes after.
Once the website is finished, I will transfer ownership of the site to you by first adding you as a collaborator. At this time you will receive an email from Squarespace inviting you to create a Squarespace account if you don’t already have one. Your website will be available to you inside your account. Once you have accessed your site I will transfer full ownership to you and remove myself as a collaborator.
In order for your site to be public, you will need to choose your Squarespace plan. You can purchase your plan after ownership of the site has been transferred to you. You’ll receive directions for how to do so. For your reference, here’s a link to the pricing plans: https://www.squarespace.com/pricing
Once ownership has been transferred, SoCal Art Opportunities is not responsible for the upkeep and management of the website. If you would like to request one-off updates, they are available for a fee. This requires you to grant temporary contributor access at the time the edit needs to be made.
Updates to text boxes and images on homepage, about page, contact page or terms/policies- $15
Additional artwork profile on the gallery page- $30
Squarespace will provide you with a free domain ending in squarespace.com. If you’d like your website URL to not include the name Squarespace in it, you can purchase your own domain. Website domains ending in .com typically cost around $10-$20 a year. You can purchase a domain directly through your Squarespace account, which you will receive directions for.
