  • Shelf Made: A Makers Winter Residency at The Pop-Hop Co-Op

    Summary: “We are so excited to be welcoming makers during the holiday season to take over shelf space at The Pop-Hop! Shelf space is open to authors, zinesters, artists, creators who make independently published books, zines, prints, stickers, accessories and ceramics. We will review clothing case by case (space is limited).”

    Summary: "Urban Pulse" is the rhythmic heartbeat of the city, a dynamic interplay between human life and the urban landscape. It captures the constant motion, the vibrant energy, and the quiet moments of solitude within the chaotic ebb and flow of modern city life. The exhibition explores the tension between personal identity and the overwhelming force of urbanization, where individuals are simultaneously shaped by and lost within the vast expanse of concrete and steel.”

  • Beatles, Burglars and h’ART

The drama of fashion's 'street theater' inspires artists of all kinds to reach new heights of style. Despite the bellicosity of the term 'fashionistas,' it fits perfectly: fashion revolutionaries living in the urban jungle, armed with attitude. OCCCA invites artists to submit their art for a wide-ranging exhibition of text, symbols, posters, placards, videos, photography, paintings, sculptures, functional objects, installations, and new media projects.”

  • Irvine Fine Arts Center Store

    Summary: “The Irvine Fine Arts Center (IFAC) Store invites local artists to exhibit and sell their original art in our store.  We feature one-of-a-kind items such as hand-made jewelry, unique ceramics, paintings, prints and printmaking-based works of art, fiber art, flower and succulent arrangements, stationary, artist books, stickers and small batch produced objects that feature original designs created by local artists. The store inventory rotates monthly.”

Whether as a harbinger of change or a messenger of hope, these birds captivate our imaginations. This annual exhibition invites artists to explore the crow’s many faces—whether rooted in reality or soaring through the realms of fantasy. What does the crow embody for you? We invite you to share your unique vision [Creative interpretations of all black birds, ravens, and other Corvus species are welcome].”
