“Join us for an open house event at Forest Lawn Museum! Celebrate the closing of Narcissus Quagliata: Archetypes and Visions in Light and Glass. From technical advances in glass fusing, to radical stylistic innovations, Narcissus Quagliata has redefined what it means to be a glass artist. He has been instrumental in moving stained glass beyond ecclesiastical and domestic settings and into the realms of public art and avant-garde studio practices for contemporary fine art. Highlighting a 50-year career, this exhibition features fused glass portraits, watercolor paintings, and large-scale public commissions.
Join us for a Q&A with the artist and curator, enjoy free exhibition tours and refreshments (while supplies last), and enter a raffle for a chance to win an autographed prize.
Visit the Forest Lawn Museum Store for a variety of posters, books, and postcards highlighting Narcissus’s career and exhibition. No RSVP required.”
