In his debut solo show, “Awaiting Equilibrium” at Dorado 806 Projects in Santa Monica, Ca., Christensen aims to expand on his lively expression of slow motion escapism through his current Sungod protagonist, a symbol of contemplative consciousness and enlightenment. The Sungod is found throughout the work waiting patiently, at times leisurely for an inevitable equilibrium, a necessary balance to the earth and humanity it illuminates.
